Popular Nigerian socialite Sophia Egbueje has publicly called out Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy, accusing him of deception after allegedly having a one-night stand with her.

In a leaked audio conversation with a friend, Sophia revealed that Burna Boy promised to buy her a Lamborghini but later failed to fulfill his word. She explained that the singer first reached out to her through a club owner, arranging their meeting, but the plans were delayed.

According to her, Burna Boy later reconnected with her, and it was her close friend, Ama Reginald, who encouraged her to go ahead with the intimate encounter. However, things did not go as she had hoped.

She expressed frustration over the situation, saying she felt used and abandoned after the encounter. Adding to her disappointment, she accused Ama Reginald of betraying her and interfering in her dealings with Burna Boy.

“Burna Boy keeps giving excuses, so I blocked him and paid for the Lamborghini myself,” she said in the recording.
